Ideal for everyday support and exercise recovery, ceramic-infused ThermoBalance® fabric reflects your horse’s body heat to activate far infrared technology. The far infrared rays penetrate beneath the skin to activate blood flow, which may help decrease inflammation. Three straps fasten the lightweight cover around the neck, while soft fleece padding adds comfort at the poll. Also at the poll is a strap with elastic inset that secures to a halter with hook and loop closure – and with no clunky clips banging around, the loop stays tucked out of the way when not in use.

Instructions for Use:

Washing Instructions:
• Machine wash in cold to warm water
• Use mild detergent
• Hang to dry
• Do not use bleach or fabric softener
• Do not put in dryer

Instructions for first use:
• Because different horses take different lengths of time to get used to ceramic technology, introduce your horse to SmartTherapy™ ThermoBalance™ slowly
• Start with 1 to 3 hours per day for the first few days and observe your horse’s response
• After 4 or 5 days, if your horse seems acclimated, you may gradually increase the number of hours the product is worn each day if desired
• If your horse is accustomed to wearing gear unsupervised and it will be safe for them to do so, consider having your horse wear the product overnight to maximize SmartTherapy’s benefits

Rated 5 out of 5 by SmartPaker Lauren from My favorite therapeutic gear The only thing better than the SmartTherapy Mesh Sheet is more of it! At 16, my horse's neck sometimes snap crackle and pops when we do carrot stretches, especially in colder weather, and this neck cover helps loosen it up and relieve stiffness. It's quick and easy to take on and off, and has held up great over a year even through enthusiastic rolls. Enzo is wearing size large – if your horse is part giraffe like mine it may not go all the way to the poll, but I’ve never had a problem with it falling down and it still hits the areas I want it to!

My horse wears an 84” and his neck is not long for as big as he is (17.2+), but it’s still too short for him. If a bigger size ends up becoming available, I’d definitely get it. In the meantime I suppose some benefit is better than none.

These products seem to help her come out less stiff after a cold night or after a heavy workout. My only complaint is the lack of pony sizes.

Rated 5 out of 5 by SmartPaker Alissa from Therapeutic Benefit for My Horse's Whole Body! This SmartTherapy Neck Rug is the perfect addition to my SmartTherapy Mesh Sheet! I love that it allows the ceramic therapy to benefit to my horse's entire body. It's easy to attach to the sheet with four Velcro closures. Best of all, there is an adjustable elastic strap at the top to attach to my halter and help keep the neck rug in place. It's easy to throw the sheet and neck rug combo on before my rides, and I definitely notice a positive difference in my older horse's muscle suppleness and warm-up time when I use this neck rug and sheet in the barn when I'm grooming and tacking up.
