Too hard to get one.
Very excited to get these boots. They are so tight that we had to cut them to get them on. I doubt they will last long with my horse. I suspect that cutting them an inch to get one will weaken them. I bought them large and still could hardly get them on.

Not up to normal wear
I had high hopes for these bell boots as they seemed thick and well made, but they lasted less than a week before they got ripped in half.

Poor Quality
I used these bell boots on a cross country course for the first time. Halfway in the course my horse crumbled the bottom of the bell boot and ripped his shoe off. These are poor quality since the rubber is thin at the top and thick on the bottom of the boot that leads it to crumble. Waste of money! I would recommend KL Select Italian bell boots instead. They are worth the money. My OTTB would rip Velcro bell boots off every week yet the KL Select Bell Boots have lasted him 3 months before I had to buy another pair.

Rip in half - don’t buy
These bell boots would be awesome if they didn’t rip in half.. they’re very thick material, and don’t stretch. I’ve gone through 3 pairs that have all split in half (which I’ve never seen). I don’t recommend these, sadly!

Disappointed
Extremely disappointed. I should've believed all the other reviews. The other reviews state that they run small and are difficult to put on. Both are true. I got the XL for my thoroughbred that wears a size 2 shoe, so small hooves. It was a workout getting these on and she lost them in turnout within 8 hours. So frustrating.

Did not last 3 weeks.
They were tough to get on, so I was super hopeful they'd stay on! But alas 3 weeks afterwards they are ripped and unsalvageable.

No stretch at all
Wish I could properly review these but they were utterly impossible to get on.

Run Small!
Can't comment on the quality because they RUN SMALL. I always order size "Large" in gum bells for my TB type Eventers, couldn't even get these on. They quality seems decent! I would have done the free return but you have to unpackage them to find out that they don't fit. Duh.

Sizing Incorrect
The sizing is completely off. I ordered XL for my 17hh TB and he was swimming in them. Even with the giant size, they were hard to pull on. I'll be sticking with the tough 1 gummy bell boots.

Sorry that I cannot recommend these bell boots. Bought them 2 months ago and they were extremely difficult to put on compared to other brands but had hoped it meant they would hold up well as we typically had to purchase KL brand every 7-9 months. They only lasted 2 months and instead of the small rip out of the boots we are used to, these boots tore in half and ripped in another spot. We were hopeful to save a bit of $ due to lesser price but I suppose you get what you pay for. Will not purchase again
