I like this style of girth so that I can just quickly hose it off when I'm done, but unfortunately the buckles rust badly. I have a similar style girth from another manufacturer at a similar price point and the buckles haven't rusted at all, even after much heavier use. I've stopped using this girth due to the rusting problem.

Rated 4 out of 5 by ZoeP from Great Girth I've had this girth for a little over two years now. I got it for my gelding who has very sensitive skin and sweats super easily, and used to be very girthy. I don't give it 5 stars because it's not quite as "stretchy" as I'd like for a girth of this material to be, and I wouldn't say it's the mooost breathable girth but I love how easy it is to clean and how easy it is to just tuck in the billets completely! Overall, this girth never irritated my gelding's delicate flower skin and on a hot day, I can always wipe it down and it's good to go, and he wasn't ever girthy with it which he used to be.
