Rated 5 out of 5 by Equestrian2 from Excellent Boot, Fits Perfectly! The cob size fits my pony perfectly, and the price is amazing! I've had them for about two months now and so far they've held up really well and they're easy to clean. After brushing them off after a ride they basically still look new, and we use them about 5x a week. Very happy with these and I love that there are a few different color options. If there are ever new colors added I'll be buying those too!

I've been using them for every ride for several months now on my young OTTB who is a bit base-narrow behind. They are lightweight & have stayed put during rides (W/T/C/jump) perfectly; he definitely does brush them, so they have held up fine to that so far. They DO run big, I'm glad I ordered the cob size, due to past experience with some SmartPak branded things being sized for mastodons; the cob size fit just right on my 16.1 TB with decent bone (would normally wear an average horse size). Quick & easy to apply, easy to brush and/or hose off if needed.

I bought the smaller size based on comments here and they did not fit, and I was really happy that SmartPak replaced those for me (15.2 hh Holsteiner X). Honestly, they have the best customer service around. We happily wore them for a few weeks, and they are doing the trick with preventing more skin injury from her back shoes -- for some reason she only recently started hitting the insides of her ankles. However, now she has a rub on her outer leg where the footing from the indoor collects under the neoprene and has rubbed all the fur off and roughed up her skin. So that's a bummer. If you don't have footing like ours, I'm guessing you'll be ok, but she does always have dirt/footing that collects under the boot during a ride.

Rated 4 out of 5 by LRs Mom from Really good value Because of his way of going, my horse is tough on hind boots. He previously shredded one of his brand new DSB's in about 4 weeks. I thought I'd try these ankle boots, and I'm pretty impressed. The inside strike area is a sturdy, rubbery plastic material that holds up to his interference without any damage so far. They clean up easily and stay looking nice even with daily use. And the low price makes them a great value. These are a great buy!

They are good and solid, not too heavy but not light and flimsy either. I really like them and I think that they will hold up to my horse who knocks his ankles quite a bit.
