Rated 5 out of 5 by alsvidur from Sizing The acutal product is great, but beware the size guide above. My horse has a Rambo 69" heavyweight. She grew a huge ba-donka-donk this summer necessitating a larger tail bungee. Since the guide said that 69" blankets should have a 30cm strap, I ordered a 40cm strap. Alas, that 40cm strap was what already came with the blanket; I needed a 50cm instead. Do what I did not: be a good consumer and MEASURE first instead of relying solely on the sizing guide. Do not be a sad, sad person who finds out that the correct size is now sold out.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Liz Up North from Easy to clean I have to replace my tail straps from time to time as the plastic clips get broken. This is a fine product; however, I wish Rambo would use metal clips instead of plastic. Perhaps they do this as a safety feature to prevent entanglement.

Order smaller than what is recommended- I ordered 30cm for my 69” and 72” blankets for my Arabians and 40cm for my 78” and 81” for my Warmbloods and they fit perfectly.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Haven from Great alternative to leg straps I bought this bungee as an under-the-tail piece to replace my the leg straps on my horse’s sheet. It works great and I don’t worry so much now about him getting tangled up in straps. I first ordered the 50 mm version and it was too long, so I reordered the 40 mm version. SmartPak promptly sent the shorter strap, gave me credit for the longer one, and kindly invited me to keep it to donate or share with a friend instead of mailing it back. Such wonderful customer service keeps me coming back. If you order this product, keep in mind that you probably need a shorter strap than you think. I’m fine with the 40 mm, but the shortest strap, 30 mm, would have been the ideal length for my size 78 sheet.
