Rated 5 out of 5 by Hannah from Size down! Definitely buy a size down! I was going to buy the horse sized for my 16.2 (and growing) OTTB, but thanks to some very helpful reviews, it said to buy a size down. I bought the cob size (feeling like a lunatic), but it was correct! The cob size fits him perfectly, even around the neck! The leather is nice, and it’s a quick slip onto the girth. I’ve only used it once but so far I love it!

Rated 3 out of 5 by Emily from Runs huge Glad I read other reviews first and got the cob size for my 16 hh appendix gelding. It’s almost too big! I can only imagine how big the horse size is. It seems to be exactly what my young guy needed though. Would have given 5 stars except it didn’t come with stoppers… like who in the world wants a running martingale with no stoppers?! That’s some kind of “batteries not included” bull!

Rated 3 out of 5 by Maile from Good quality leather, RUNS WAY TOO BIG! I have a 17h TB mare who is very long in every way, and this is way too big for her at the fork part. The neck strap is fine. But it is so big it has pretty much no effect on the horse. The quality of the leather is very good. I would go down an entire size. I will be buying something else as I’ve already used it a few times and punched holes to try to tighten it/make it work, but truly the forks just need to be shorter.

Ultimately I need to return because I cannot hook the strap into my protective girth. The leather piece is extremely thick. It shouldn’t be a problem for someone who is using a regular girth.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Michaelarose from Way too big I have a 16.1 OTTB mare with a relatively long neck and the horse size is just way too big for her. The neck couldn’t get tight enough and the fork is so long that it has no actually affect. Very disappointed in this product.
