Rated 5 out of 5 by Sherbearski from Great for sensitive horses I just purchased this for my VERY sensitive thinned skinned thoroughbred. He gets EXTREMELY cranky sometimes during grooming (he is not always like this, and he has been treated for ulcers and seen the vet) he LOVES THIS. He will freely let me groom him with this and doesn’t wiggle. It makes his coat sooo glossy, and he is perpetually dusty no matter what I do or use. It works well to even get the mud off his legs with a little bit of effort. Definitely recommend

I use it for legs, faces, all over the body; it leaves a great shine and is the perfect 'oh no I'm late for my lesson and only have time to use one brush' tool. It's also amazing for bathing. My first one broke down after a year of rough treatment, but at the price I don't mind replacing it.

I originally bought one to help tackle some scratches my mare had on her legs. It is now my go-to sponge for bathing all the horses at my barn. I also find that despite it looking rough, it still feels soft and remains effective, whether you are using it in water, or dry as a curry comb. Even with using the sponge all summer long for bathing, there is still plenty of life in it.

This grooming tool is great for quick grooming sessions and is my go-to tool when I need to quickly brush off my horse before blanketing. The Epona Tiger's Tongue Horse Groomer™ is aggressive enough to act as a curry to scrub off most dirt patches on your horse, but also acts as a brush to dust away loose dirt and dust. It is also gentle enough to use around the head and legs!

As a groom for Morgan show horses, having a clean, shiny horse has always been a priority of mine and I feel like I have tried every dirt/hair remover under the sun at this point. I am so glad I finally gave this product a try. Not only does it strip away dirt and excess hair, but my horse LOVES it. Her ears are nice and relaxed and she yawns just as much as she does when she gets a massage. When I stop using it she typically looks back at me as if she is saying "umm…keep going!". My other favorite thing about this product is that it is so soft and flexible, I can really use it all over her body to pick up hair and dirt where I wouldn't normally use a curry comb. When it gets extra dirty I rinse it off in warm water and it dries pretty fast.

I use it instead of a hard body brush. I curry comb, use this, then a super soft brush for my full grooming process and it works great!
