Great hackamore
I bought this a couple weeks ago for my horse and was a little nervous after reading reviews but for $50, I think it’s perfect. The leather seems like great quality. Some people were saying how the color is s light pinkish tan, and it is, but you need to soak it in oil. I used neatsfoot and it darkened it to a pretty chocolate brown after soaking for 10 minutes. I took the chain off and completely submerged that and then just wiped the rest with a rag.

Did the trick.
My horse hated a bit and fought it fiercely. Now, he acts like a different horse with this hackamore.

Bad Quality / Wrong color / Uncomfortable to horse
I bought this hackamore about a month ago after trying out a friends Herm Sprenger Hack which my horse loved . She has a very sensitive face/mouth and it made a huge difference . Once I received this product I noticed it was pink, or a pinkish nude color , not brown . After less then a months use the part of the nose band with fluff wore out And started too fall off , making it hard on my horses nose and the leather quickly stretched out. It looks like it’s about to tear on the part that attaches to the metal shank. On top of this , the chain on the bottom part of the noseband pinches your horse anytime you put slight pressure on it .
Overall , for a non sensitive horse you might be able to get away with this hackamore , but it most likely won’t hold up for more than a month or two. For a sensitive horse this is a huge no since it pinches them and the nose padding won’t hold up. I ended up purchasing a herm hack shortly after which my horse showed great preference too .

Perfect for pony or small muzzled horse
I’ve purchased this hackamore off of another site before & sold it thinking i wouldn’t have a use for it, but now that I’m rehabbing my 14hh pony I’ve decided to buy again! It’s the perfect size for her but i can easily see how it wouldn’t fit a larger horse!! It is very adjustable in the curb chain and nose piece!! Only reason i didn’t give 5 stars is the restriction on sizing!

Great ride!
I ride western but I loved the look and feel of this hackamore! It fit on my bridle perfectly. The only thing was the curb chain was a little small but that was no problem to just punch another hole in it. It rides great and is very good quality!

Awesome product
I bought this for my warblood mare was a great product was just to small. The fleece provided enough padding and the material was good quality. It would be perfect for a pony or a horse with a narrow muzzle.

Terrible Product
WAYYYY to small. I have a TB gelding with an average head, I let all the wholes out and it was still too small (and there is no room to punch more holes). The leather is also thin! I don't think I'd trust the leather to hold up with a fair amount of pressure. The fleece lining was also thin and useless. I'm very disappointed. Sending it back.

Good value
This was my first hackamore purchase and I didn't want to spend too much. This is a nice attachment for the price and I'm pleased with it! It does run a little small and although my horse has an average nose or even cob size... It does fit after adding two holes but if that hadn't worked there was no room to adjust it any further. The fuzzy padding is nice and although the leather was very stiff it has softened up a little. I chuckle when I look at it as someone else said it was "ugly as sin" and this is true. The color is aweful and has Not darkened with oil but I can live with it. My horse LOVES this and has stopped all the fussing he does with a bit in his mouth. He is very responsive to it as well. Overall a great product for the price!!!!

Nice product, small.
I bought this with a bunch of other bits to test what my new gelding might like most, I've been waiting to try it, I've always considered my TB to have a small head, but this hackamore proved me wrong, I put it on the biggest setting and it was still too tight, then punched in another hole, and it was again too small. I think I still have a little more room for another hole, but fitting a hackamore to a fussy TB is not an easy task, might have to sell it since I've punched holes in it. Other than fit, it is a nice hackamore to test a horse with before buying the more expensive ones.

Too small
I bought this for my OTTB and it was too small to for him appropriately. I let it out to its largest settings, but I couldn't make it fit. Sadly sending it back.
