Quality control issues.
I have used Easycare gloves for the last six months with zero issues. Purchased a new pair when Smart Pak had their Labor Day sale. Put them on and the plastic on the gator cracked. Horse took not one step. Sent them back to Smart Pak and they promptly processed a refund. I want to be super clear - this is an Easycare problem. Not a Smart Pak problem. The quality control on the gators in general seems to have gotten bad. With some research, I have found out that I am not only person with the cracking problem or stitching breaking. So purchase with caution.

Really helped laminitic horse
My horse foundered about a year ago and has been uncomfortable on rocky or hard group since. This made it difficult to keep her in work and riding in summer when the ground becomes baked solid. With these boots on she has been able to return to full work, and is even beginning to jump small fences again! I can tell an immediate difference in her comfort and stride with the boots on. Our chiropractor said she moves better with these boots on than she did before she foundered! Highly recommend. It is very important to ensure you measure correctly and get the right size, but SmartPak's return policy makes than easier than other retailers. The right size should be a little tricky to get on and off when they're new and should NOT twist or turn when on the hoof. HIGHLY recommend for laminitic horses or horses with sensitive soles.

Wow, great boots and great company (crucial factor
OMG, how happy ordering these boots made me (and my horse). The boot is great and SmartPak is great too:
Background:
I'm transitioning a 4 yo 17 hands friesian stallion from being shod. Long story short, we need boots for the transitioning and I ordered Scootboots. I ordered according to their sizing chart, but he has very small hoofs yet with the usual draft-sized legs, so it was impossible to find a fit. Way too tight around pastern, and too big on the hoof. And it turns out Scootboots still operate out of Australia, so it would take 14days+ to have new sizes shipped each time, even longer to get returns approved, and I've spent equal amounts on returns as for boots, and yet not been able to fit them properly.
So I found these, which are very similar to Scootboots, yet with the added benefit that they are softer in the back and around the pastern. They are still somewhat snug around the pastern on him, but I'll reinforce with additional velcro, apart from that fit like a glove! He was very happy with them.
AND, shipping said about a week, they arrived overnight!!!!
Which is pretty crucial in this scenario as every day that goes by that it's difficult to work him properly and he might not be landing properly on his feet etc is one red day in our calendar. I'm so impressed. So happy. Wow, how difficult things can be with the wrong products and the wrong company, and how easy it can be with the right products and the right company.
VERY HAPPY.
They are really great boots, like someone said, a little hard to get on, but not a problem I put it on, and ask him to step down, and they slide on. Not hard to take off. Stayed on like a glove, we tried tight turns and lateral movements. Easy to clean and fast to dry.

Easy on and stay on!
This is the first boot that has remained in place on my gaited horse at speed! He is 23 years old and “ footy” off grass or arena footing. He loves them and was comfortable riding down the dirt road with scattered small stones yesterday! I love them!

A Must Have for Barefoot Trail Horses!
I love the Easyboot Glove Soft by Easy Care Inc! These boots helped keep my horse, Kimchi, significantly more comfortable when he transitioned to being barefoot. At the beginning of his transition, I would use these any time he would work. Now that he has been barefoot for a few years, we only use them during trail rides or on any rough terrain. These boots help keep Kimchi comfortable on even the rockiest of trails!
I personally like to keep two sizes on hand, one for after a fresh trim and one for the end of his trim cycle. This is not necessary but I’ve found it makes putting the boots on at the end of his trim cycle much easier. It’s nice to have an extra pair on hand, just in case! These boots stay on great at the walk and trot; however, anything faster than a trot or any muddy terrain would work best with a Power Strap. Additionally, the Easyboot Glove Soft is so easy to clean! I hose them off after a ride and hang them upside down to dry. These boots are perfect for any barefoot trail horses!

Sweet
We had to recently pull shoes because of the wet weather was causing too many lost and sprung shoes. We got these for our horses that tend to get foot sore and they work great.

Works well but hard to fit - great return policy!
I think these boots are very good and probably easier to put on then most boots. But trying to figure out what size to get using the measuring chart is very difficult. But Smart Pak has a great return policy. I would not try to order these from any other company!

Excellent boot
This boot replaced my 3 year old noot. I will order a new gator for my old one to keep it in service. They are long lasting, and durable. Takes a little effort to get them on if you have a good fit. Nit I have never had one come off. I use them front and rear.

Great boot
I boughtvthe easy boot glove because the other boots I tried were too bulky for my horse. Apparently he has a narrow stance on his hind end. The boots seem to work great and fit well. They are a little difficult to get on but they are supposed to be so they don't come off. I just noticed that he is now rubbing the inside of the fabric when he walks do I don't know how long they will last (he apparently has a narrow gait too).
