Rated 5 out of 5 by Horse nut from Dr cook bitless bridle I had a horse that had a obsessive uncontrolled issue with rubbing her nose face on her front legs. After years of trying diff bridles and bits. That really did not solve the issue Also have a equine dentist and chiropractor make sure those were not the problems. A friend suggested I try a bitless DR Cook bridle. I did with skepticism Thinking. One more thing that won’t work. To my amazement. All her non stop head rubbing obsession is completely gone. I now have a happy horse. That works just fine minus a bit.

She’s the love of my life (aside from my hub;). She’s been fighting me for months while riding. Stopping, barely moving, pulling her head down. I bought this 6mos ago and have been scared to use it, as I never rode bit less. Finally, she had such a terrible ride I decided to try it…wow! From the second I put it I could tell she was happier! No change in control, just happier and actually is moving better than she ever has! The reins are beautiful and so soft! Try this, if ur looking that means something isn’t right. Try this, it might be what ur house needs! I wish I used it sooner.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Grammylvshorses from No loss of control! I have been using the bitless bridle for 5 years now. My mare would toss and shake her head quite a lot with a bit and flash. I decided to try Dr. Cooks bitless bridle and from the first ride she stopped all the head tossing and shaking. I have had no issues with the quality of the bridle. The only problem I’ve had is that after a couple years the leather in the nose band has faded to a dark brown. I also have had no problems with control. I would recommend this bridle.

My horse was so happy in it! But I've had it for about a month and there is glue coming out of browband and noseband, this makes it sticky and my shedding horses hair stick to it.

Before the bridle, he was not too beginner friendly because he would not steer with little ones when he had a bit in his mouth. After much research on bitless bridles, I decided to go with this brand and I absolutely love it and so does Q!!!! Now we are both happy and he can be ridden by all my students! It is very appealing to the eye and the leather is of great quality! My only wish is that it came with reins for the price but well worth the money regardless!
