Perfect winter breech !
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I needed a good winter breeze to be able to handle riding in the tundra ! These were perfect - they fit great , don’t slip but yet have a lot of give in the waste and are super warm and flattering . I get complements on them all the time and get asked where they are from !

Good option, be mindful of the waist size.
Breeches are warm, but the waist seems to run a bit smaller than the others of the same size.

Best breeches ever
Comfortable do not rub. Attractive fit. Stays up in the back. Plenty of belt loops. Excellent grip. These are the only breeches I wear any longer: just simply well made great fit and durable.

The size is all wrong
I’m sure these are nice breeches, they look lovely and seem to be well made. However, the regular length are SHORT. I’m 5’8, and the regular length barely came past my calf. There was more than 6” between the bottom of the hem and my ankle bone. They also fit funny in the hip and stomach. I’m generally pretty narrow, but even for me the hips were incredibly tight while the stomach could’ve fit two of me in the waist band. They might be great, but their sizing is way off

Needs improvement
Inclined to write a review as the current reviews were not helpful in my purchase. I also hope that ariat takes this review into consideration in improving the product as it does have potential. I ordered several sizes and colors, what was left and available: 28 regular in ebony, 26 long in black( See photos), and 24 regular in ebony (no photo). I’m 5’4” 128 pounds, muscular thighs, fit, small waist. I’m typically a 26 or 27 in jeans/pants. The 28 regular were huge in waist and hips, fit nicely in thighs and length (regular) was good. Obviously too big - see photos, returning. The 26L was still big in the waist and hip area but fit fine in thighs. Length was too long; baggy in lower leg and knee, obviously meant for someone taller than me. Ordered a 24 regular next, thighs way too small and fit overall too small, could barely get them on. So I guess the best I’m doing in size is the 26 regular (which I don’t have and is out of stock in all colors), but the waist and hips are still rather big and baggy in this size. Overall I guess it’s “true to size” as we say, since the 26 is my usual size in other pants, but runs big in the waist and hip. The material is nice but could use a bit more stretch. The waist sizing needs adjustment. The thighs are not quite right between sizes either. The grips on full seat could be grippier. The high waist is very nice! I’m a daily dressage rider in cold New York and share my style on LTK and instagram @thevoguepursuit. I love a breech that can take me from the barn to life outside of the barn in fashion! Hope this helps. I’d recommend the breech bc there aren’t a lot of winter riding breeches available but for the price, these need big time improvement. I purchase a great deal of ariat products and they are generally on point!

The fabric is too thin for the MN winters.
Too thin for MN winter’s I’m trying to exchange them with no luck.

Very warm and comfortable
I have two pairs of these which work well riding in MN winters. Not exceedingly wind proof but I think that would add extra bulk so I'm ok with that. When it gets super cold I add a pair of silk long johns underneath and the wind doesn't bother me.

Great quality but sizing issues
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Ordered 1 pair of tri factor and 1 pair tri factor frost in the same size (32L, 6’ tall, 175lbs, medium size half-chap/boot sheath) at the same time. The Frost were WAY too tight while the regular fit great (though 1-2” too short despite me having average circumference calves). Similar to the other reviewer, I think they used a thicker fabric without adjusting the pattern to compensate. Returning sadly.

So warm and comfortable
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I decided to give these insulated Tri-Factors a go after buying my third pair of the Tri Factor Grip Knee Patch Breech. I love them. They do have a lot of grip on them. I don't own and ride horses often and bought these more for fashion but also functional purposes. I like clothes with function. I know I can work in these if I needed to. They're nice and warm. I love the higher waist on these. I would love to see some Insulated knee grip only versions of this with the higher waist line, as well.
They fit snug, with no room to spare but are stretchy and comfortable, a little compression.
Sizing: I bought 26 reg. 124lb slim/athletic build. Hips 38in. Waist 26in. I typically wear mediums in workout leggings. 4/6 or 27 in most jeans. 5' 4". I'm on the short side so regular is a touch long for me but they still work. These fit perfectly with no room to spare.

Nice but sizing issues
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I ordered 2 pairs in my normal size (28) and found them to be too snug and very uncomfortable in the crotch as a result. Returned the unworn pair for larger size and that worked a whole lot better, a bit roomy in the waist but nothing a belt couldn't manage. It seems insulated versions of pants - not just these - use the same pattern and make no accommodation for the added bulk of the insulation . Otherwise that are very cozy and warm and i plan to wear them often.
