Sizing issues
I went back and forth on these due to the sizing issue. I went ahead and bought them and sized up 2 sizes. I wear a 7 (38) and sized up to a 9 (40) and they fit perfectly. Hopefully that helps out! I just got them so I can’t attest to their durability yet.

Style and function meet!
Very comfortable and very warm. I just tested the warmth factor w'single digit Midwestern weather and they came through like a champ. No need for thick socks. I also have the Ada Mid Country boot so I knew my size. Yes, I would go one size up because the fleece pile inside of the boot is plush. If you are shorter in height (I'm 5'3) and struggle to get tall boots to fit, these will be perfect!

Cute boot. Watch the sizing
Purchased the boots as a replacement to my current ( non winterized) field boot. Warm boots are a necessity in NewEngland and barn boots must have be waterproof and have good soles/ treads. These boots check those boxes. They are also fashionable- I have gotten compliments not only from my horse friends but also from strangers when pit running errands. Now the cons…. Read the reviews. The sizing is small and run at least one half size smaller than listed ( with a tight ankle area) . Depending on the manufacture, I wear a size 7 1/2 Blundstone, size 42 Merrill hiking boot and a Size 11 Adidas or Hoka running shoe. I purchased a Size 42 and these boots are tight. I must pull hard to get them on and off ( i won’t wear them if I’m running late for a lesson as I don’t want to be bothered getting them off in a hurry). The fuzzy liner seems to be packing down so they are beginning to form to my foot. a

Too nice to wear in the mud!
Good looking boot and very cozy. To be
truthful. I think it's way too attractive to wear i
n the mud. So I probably will just wear it as
fashion wear.
But it is a lovely boot and is very comfortable

Not true to size
I ordered my usual size, and it was a struggle to get them on. I almost couldn’t get them off, and developed an awful foot cramp trying to remove them. They looked really nice, and well made, but the sizing was WAY, WAY off…. And I’m not interested in shipping things back and forth till I get a good fit, so back they go.

Loved the boots, but the sizing is wrong. The description on line says EU 42 is equal to US 11. However, the box says EU 42 US 10. The box is correct, as I wear a size US 11 and these fit like a US 10. Other reviewers did say they ran small, but with such a good sale price, I took a change. Wish they came in a true US 11.

Pretty boot; Terrible sizing
All of the reviews are true. These boots are beautifully but the sizing is terrible. I am usually an 8.5 and decided to go with a 9, and they are still unbearably tight. And it was a final sale… quite frustrated to say the least, and I’ve been a long time customer.

The warmest boot
They are the warmest boot ever! I don't use them in the barn but as a dress boot.

Office to barn worthy!
Amazing! I bought these through my company’s mental, physical, and emotional wellbeing program to support my horse back riding activities and I looooove these. They are cute enough to wear from the office to the barn and are great to ride in. So comfortable. I did make sure to buy a 1/2 size larger than I usually wear and they fit perfectly.

No joke, these are really small!
They seem well made, they look great, are super warm, and I absolutely love the fleece lining, but wow are these boots small! I'm a 9 in shoes, but normally choose a 10 in boots because I like to wear thicker socks. I've gotten other Ada boots from Smartpak in a 41 and they were perfectly true to size as a 10. I ordered these in a 42 after reading other reviews and if they came in a 43 I'd exchange them for that. Not only is the entire foot box super small, but those other reviewers were right about the weirdly tight ankle area that can be a squeeze to get your foot through. It's fine on my left foot, but a bit of a struggle on the right. I hope Smartpak takes these all these reviews into consideration and makes a few tweaks to sizing and whatever is going on in the ankle area, because otherwise, they're great boots. If you have small enough feet that ordering up multiple sizes isn't an issue, I'd happily recommend these. If you're on the upper end of available sizing, though, order with caution.
