My horse, Lucky, ships and shows several times a month during show season. He may not seem, or act stressed but why take a chance? I like the assurance that I am doing all I can do for my horse. SmartShip & Show® Paste contains a source of live naturally occurring microorganisms, electrolytes, and vitamin C. The paste is easy to dose and administer with the oral syringe. Lucky loves the butterscotch flavor!

I recently started giving it to my Morgan mare when traveling and going to shows because she can be a poor drinker and she would sometimes get loose stool on the trailer. Thanks to the electrolytes and pre/probiotics in SmartShip & Show, there is a clear difference in her water consumption and her stool when she gets this product. She also seems to settle in at shows a lot easier when she gets this product. I also gave her a few tubes of this recently while she was being treated for Lyme for peace of mind that I was doing what I could to help her body cope with the stress of Lyme itself as well as the treatment which can be harsh on their GI tract. This paste is easy to administer and smells great.

I of course use it for hauling days, but we live in the south and it can be HOT- and the heat stress can really take a toll on my horse. He is perky, hydrated and happy after a tube of this. He was even coming down with a bit of dehydration colic due to the heat. My vet was going to be a few hours to arrive. Popped him a tube of this and it was he was totally resolved, hydrated, and bright eyed and bushy tailed by the time the vet arrived.

He would usually go off his food and water for a few days when we traveled. I tried Smart Ship & Show this summer and my horse did not freak me out w a two day drinking strike. He settled into his vacation digs way more quickly than he ever has. I ran out of it on the final leg of the journey after a clinic and he was definitely more anxious first day at his regular home.

They'd never been in a trailer that long before so naturally I was concerned about stress and their digestive systems. Giving them this paste prior to our trip gave me the peace of mind I needed to make sure they had everything their bodies needed to help them get there as best as they could and their guts happy. Will be buying again.

Rated 5 out of 5 by rider456 from Horse shipped well When we made an interstate move (horse was in transit for ~27 hours), I gave my horse 1 tube the morning he left, he got another the next morning (shortly before he arrived at his new barn), and a third the following afternoon. He traveled very well (ate/drank, stayed calm, etc.) and had no issues transitioning to a different feed at the new barn (we mixed old & new for the first week). That said, he is a very mellow horse and tends to drink whenever he's thirsty anyway, so it's hard to say how much to attribute to the paste. But it certainly didn't hurt.

It’s a 3 hr trailer ride and 3 days of being in a stall when she is used to being turned out 24/7. She usually has loose stools, doesn’t drink well and by the last day is not finishing her grain. I started it thursday night before we left, and gave it to her every evening before her evening meal. She drank great all weekend, no loose watery nervous stools and cleaned up her grain and hay everyday. She also just seemed to feel better and have more energy even on the last day!! Will make sure I always have this in my trunk and will use for our local shows too!

Usually we are gone for a week and this year she will start attending two-week circuits. I started using this last year. She used to get kind of ulcery and with this paste we don't have any issues. I also like how it has electrolytes.
