Staple for my hard working horse
SmartFlex Ultimate Pellets are the perfect thing for my hard-working senior! This supplement helps support my boy's joints, tendons, and ligaments. I love the resveratrol antioxidant in this formula, as well. I feel at ease knowing my horse is getting the best joint support!

Amazing product that actually works!!!
After researching joint products to try to avoid getting ongoing injections on my mare, I ended up ordering SmartFlex Ultimate Pellets. Less than 30 days after starting this my mare came up injured after a race and the vet was skeptical that she’d be able to finish the season. After 6 weeks off the vet was shocked that she was clearing My mare back into work. Not only did she come back but she came back stronger than before and even maintained soundness throughout our World Finals where she competed in 2 divisions finishing 3rd in one division and 23 in the other (A lot of rider errors). Without this joint supplement, I would have had to keep her on osteoarthritis shots every 21 days as well as joint injections every 3 months. She came home from 12 days on the road sound with no inflammation or tenderness.

The BEST joint/tendon supplement hands-down!
My 18 year old draft horse has flourished since I started him on this supplement. He was on EquiThrive and SmartFlex Senior Ultra before, but always got stiff when the seasons changed. Since starting this supplement, I have truly noticed a greater range in movement, more willingness to work, and he's more comfortable overall in turnout. Knock-on-wood, I haven't even seen him stock up in his stall, which occasionally happened when he was on his previous supplements. This is a game-changer for older horses, especially those in regular work. This will be a staple in his SmartPak for years to come! Worth the money, and even my vet backs the research behind it.

Like night and day for my senior QH
I have a 23 year old QH that was exhibiting some joint discomfort, especially in the hind end. It got to a point where she wasn’t wanting to pick up her front hooves (she’d have to balance on the hind legs to do so), and was becoming a problem. She was previously on the smartflex senior pellets which did help her initially, but I guess just wasn’t doing the job anymore. Since switching her to Smartflex Ultimate pellets, and the addition of Smartflax (for anti-inflammatory properties), she has been like a different horse. Took about 2 months to really kick in but her activity level is much higher. She seems perkier and more comfortable, willingly wanting to gallop all the time. And best of all she’s holding her feet up with no problem. She is on pasture 24/7, gets only a handful or two of grain as a carrier for her supplements, and gets Vermont Blend as well. I trust Smartpak products and ingredients and can definitely say they’ve made a difference for my girl. So happy to see her pain free, and not need to resort to NSAIDs!

Great product to ad comfort to arthritic pain
I believe in researching a product, especial the ingredients in which are in the product. Smartpak has very good ingredients the products in which I have used in the last 4 yrs or so. This product is a wonderful product for replacing previcox and Vet RX to help the horse move and aid comfort to arthritic and even ads relaxing comfort while horse is stalling in longer time periods in cold Minnesota nights due to artic weather we experience.

Equine Lucifer, is that you???
I hate even writing a negative review! I love SmartPak! I love everything about them! The company, the products, the customer service, the satisfaction guarantee (thank goodness!) ... but unfortunately, this supplement made my horse Lucifer Incarnate! He went from being sweet & just a little bit spicy to being a FIRE-BREATHING DRAGON! An absolute, hysterical maniac. Lunging him was like flying a 1600 lb, Demonic kite. And riding him?? Goodnight! He acted such a fool that he bolted backward, stumbled, set back & fell on me, crushing my leg ... DURING A CLINIC. (Because go big or go home, right?! Cue dramatic eye roll.)
Alfalfa does make him a Psycho Express, but something in this releases the Cracken in my big, dumb, bay gelding???? Everyone knows *THEY* aren’t supposed to be whackadoodles. Leave that noise to the chestnut mares, Broseph. Going back to SmartFlex Ultra because he seemed to keep a brain between his ears on that one. But I still super squishy love you, SmartPak!

Working GREAT!
After hours and hours of exhaustive review and comparisons of ingredients, I have combined custom doses of this product with two others: Smartflex Rehab and SmartAntioxident and been using this combo for over 2 years. I just had my 12 y/o performance hunter evaluated by the vet for a routine update. Passed with FLYING colors. I try to be proactive, preventive and supportive in my horse's care. I am a big believer in science and feel like a high performance athlete deserves to have their body replenished and supported properly.

Big Difference!
I'm not one to write reviews, but this product deserves a good review! I have an 11 year old Appendix who has always loved to jump, but recently has been too stiff in his stifles to do so. In just one month, I have seen a complete change in his gait and attitude. He was becoming a little grumpy about working, but now he is happy to work again. Although it can be pricey, I highly recommend this product!

Easy, quick, no counting or measuring.
I bought this product 2 months ago and couldn't be happier. No counting, no measuring, so easy! I didn't even have to think about when to re order, the automatic arrives when you have 2 or 3 packs left. Its perfect. The storage box is big, works well and helps keep me very organized. My old man of a horse is moving great! Turns easier, better hock movement, not as stiff when he comes out of the stall. He's trying to run around with the babies at my barn! I recommend this product to anyone who wants to give their horses joints a little something special.
