Not approved by my picky eater :(
I was excited to see a pelleted form for copper supplementation, but I have tried everything, including mashing bananas & applesauce in it and my mare will spit it back out right away :( She does the same with poly zinc too.

Great for manes and fur!
Looks like feed and forage is notoriously low on zinc or copper so I ordered both for my Haflinger. Her mane did grow like 7" since November and her dapples are more prominent as well.

Horse won't touch it!
I previously used a powdered Cu/Zn supplement which my horse wasn't a huge fan of. Decided to try this pelleted form instead - somehow my horse likes this even less. She actively spits out mouthfuls of grain if she finds this mixed in, and has refused to touch it even when mixed with beet pulp, molasses, applesauce, or alfalfa pellets.

No hoof, no horse
Along with the zinc pellets, I recently switched to pelleted copper to encourage a fussy eater. Increasing copper and zinc based on my hay testing is the best way to get better feet on my horses. No hoof, well, you know the rest.

Easy to use
Great product and easy to feed to my horses. I just pour a scoop on top of their food once a day and that's it! This is important to me because I will keep up a program if it's easy to use. And I feel confident knowing my horses are getting the minerals they need!
