This daily supplement is offered in SmartPaks to encompass consistent calming support so your horse stays focused and ready to work every day. This formula provides a comprehensive selection of ingredients that includes magnesium, taurine, thiamine, inositol, Vitamin BeHave (a proprietary blend of B vitamins), and sodium copper chlorophyllin. Contains gastric soothing ingredient, eugenol free deglycyrrhized licorice root, for a wholistic approach to supporting overall serenity. Ideal for horses who need support for anxious and nervous behavior or for horses who already love Perfect Prep products and want a consistent feeding method.

Ingredient Details

Active Ingredients:
Proprietary Blend of Taurine, Magnesium, Inositol, Thiamine, Glycine, Riboflavin, Vitamin b6, Deglygycyrrized Licorice Root Extract* (18,110 mg mg).

Inactive Ingredients:
Alfalfa Meal, Calcium Propionate, Fenugreek Seed Powder, Heat Stabilized Rice Bran, Lignin Sulfonate, Soybean Oil.

*Note for competitive riders: This ingredient is certified eugenol-free

Instructions

Perfect Prep recommends dosing based on desired response and temperament.

Loading dose: For maximum effect, administer 4 scoops daily (2 scoops AM / 2 scoops PM) for the first 28 days.
Maintenance dose: Evaluate response after the loading period (28 days). Reduce dosage to 1 or 2 scoops AM / 1 or 2 scoops PM to find the optimum maintenance level.

Pre-selected dosing options is as follows:
•Loading dose = 4 scoops or 260 g (will automatically switch to a maintenance dose after first 28 day)
•Maintenance dose = 2 scoops or 130 g

1 scoop = 65 gs
4 scoops = 260 g

Rated 1 out of 5 by Rider4life21 from Disappointed, No one will eat them! I can’t get a single one of my horses to eat these pellets. I originally purchased them for a horse on lease who ended up leaving my barn. I’ve tried giving them to multiple horses in my program and no one will eat them. I’ve tried mixing it with other grains, supplements, sweet feeds. Nothing works. I’ve had good luck with other calming supplements, but never had an opportunity to see how these ones actually work. I like the perfect prep pastes so disappointed in the pellets!

Rated 5 out of 5 by SmartPaker Carrie from Great product for competition horses! Previously, I have had great experiences with the Prefect Prep Paste but I wanted to try the pellets. I like that they eliminate having to give your horse a tube and offer similar calming effects for everyday riding. I noticed my young thoroughbred gelding was more relaxed and was able to focus better on training. The pellets make it easy to feed. I recommend this product for anyone needing to help take the "edge" off and need support for better focus.

Since starting this supplement she has become a brand new horse. This supplement is worth its weight in gold!

Rated 5 out of 5 by FWFarms from Subtle but Effective Very useful for my young horse to help settle and focus at home and shows. Brought the initial mental warm-up time down from 20+ min to 5 min. Its a subtle change but exactly what he needed to help make quicker progress and less reactivity to external stimuli. Did not cause him to stumble, be dull, or a 'push ride'. Just mentally more ready to focus on the work and allow his energy to be directed. He can be a picky eater and he ate it well in his normal grain.

Was the only thing I have changed in his routine but he has become unruly. really disappointing outcomes for this product - especially at this price point. He did seem to enjoy eating it but really just disappointed overall.
