Each scoop of Lung EQ contains 20,000 mg of spirulina, an antioxidant-rich superfood algae known for its histamine-lowering and immune-assisting properties, as well as jiaogulan, a Chinese herb that assists in airway dilation for a balanced immune response. Horse would not eat
Received today and fed first dose. Horse flat out refused to eat it. Arrived quickly and packaged well. I hate it didn’t work out.

Very pleased with purchase.
Not sure if this will work for my mini horse, she has suddenly got a bit of a cough. It is worth a try, it has been super dry in Central Texas I not sure if that is the cause . Other than that she is bright and eating well , no other outward signs of anything.
What I was surprised about was when I got the package it was really large and heavy Much to my surprise when I opened it. There was this really nice plastic storage drawer, logo with Smartpac on top Everything was packed super nice sorta above and beyond .
I thought I would just get like a basic box or something . Certainly wasn't expecting all that . So I was surprised and it actually came in very very handy because I was going to go out the following day and buy something like that because I was in need.

A must for Heaves!
I purchased this for a 44 yr old Shetland pony with IR/Cushings who also has heaves. Every time the weather would change he would develop a cough which sometimes progressed into mucus production. He’s used steroids, antibiotics and nebulizers in the past for flare ups. Since using this supplement daily we haven’t had ANY flares yet and it almost been a 1/2 a year! Being a Respiratory Therapist for people I have to say I’m beyond impressed by this supplement!

Great for Dusty Environments!
My horse was on this supplement when we lived in Arizona. The environment there is VERY dusty and windy, and so my boy would get very wheezy. Once I put him on this supplement, the wheezing was GONE. I highly recommend this product to everyone I know who is dealing with heaves and other allergies. My boy is not a picky eater so gobbled this up no problem. Be aware, however, it’s stinky! If you scoop the pellets yourself, your hands will smell like this supplement for days lol!

Not enough for some…
I found this product was useful on horse horse but not enough support for my horse. Both horses are it well which was quite nice!

I have had a gelding for three years who suffers from seasonal allergies/heaves. In the spring and fall he gets wheezy, coughs and has a runny nose and eyes even with 24/7 turnout, clean soaked hay, and antihistamines. I started feeding this supplement in early March of this year. We are now almost to May and my allergies are horrible but my gelding is doing better than ever with 24/7 turnout, clean dry hay, and NO ANTIHISTAMINES! I can't say enough good things about this stuff. His eyes have never been cleaner and his breathing has never been better as it is today, in the middle of allergy season... I am amazed. I just hope it continues to work this well and it isn't a fluke! If you have a heaves horse, try this stuff.

AMAZING!!!
I have 2 horse that have developed some sort of allergy in the last 18 months; cough, weezing, and shortness of breath. I changed feed, hay turnout etc. I have tried SOOOO many different allergens that have not worked. I decided to give Lung EQ a try because well; I tried everything else. They have only been on it for 2 weeks and WOWZA they are improving already!!!! Not 100% but so much better; this stuff is a life saver/changer for my guys! I look forward to the next few weeks for more improvement. THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU for this amazing product!!

I've tried many different products to ease my horse's breathing issues. They didn't seem to make a difference or my horse wouldn't eat them. However, Lung EQ has really made a difference. Been using it for over 3 years now and have been very happy with the results!! Ebony is very comfortable now.

cut the coughing
Hay quality is never a given. This product is a wonderful all-around health supplement, but specifically has helped my equine partners "weather" marginal hay crops. My partner LuLu sends her Thanks! She's also VERY fond of the Equi Treats in Peppermint. Recently gave a bag to my Veterinarian, as they spoil her when we have an appointment.
