Hoof And Joint Support All-In-One

Farrier's Formula® Double Strength Plus Joint is a pelleted combination hoof and joint supplement that can be added as a top dressing on regular feed or given separately. The product is formulated to promote dense hoof wall growth along with additional joint and tendon support.

Over 30 years of research, clinical trials, and field testing have validated the effectiveness of Farrier’s Formula®. The same research databases utilized to formulate Farrier's Formula® have now been incorporated into the development of Farrier's Formula® Double Strength Plus Joint. By providing the same nutrients in the same levels, this formula works as well as Farrier’s Formula®, but with the additional benefit of ingredients for joint health.

Farrier’s Formula® Double Strength Plus Joint provides nutrients important for strong hooves, skin, and joints in the correct balance and ratio. It also promotes strong growth of the hoof wall, sole, frog, and heel. The inclusion of proline, ornithine, and manganese provide targeted joint support. This product contains the sulfur needed for joint health in the form of the amino acids methionine and cysteine.

My farrier (who is also a veterinarian) recommended this for my mare's feet, and I was pleased to see the option of buying a joint-help version, too. So far, it seems great - I know it can take weeks before you really notice a difference with feet and joints. For now, I plan to continue using it. She certainly loves the supplement taste and eats it before her alfalfa cubes.

If you can afford it probably go with smart packs instead

Rated 4 out of 5 by Karyn from Pretty good after a while I started my ottqh on this supplement when I purchased him. I noticed a slight difference in his joints but not much in his hooves. I was thinking of switching supplements after a few months because he was still stiff and creaky. I decided to change how I was feeding the supplement. For convenience sake I would just dump the supplement into his feed. I started hand feeding the supplement separately before feeding. After a month of doing this my horse is very lumber and doesn’t Creek! I’m excited to see the effects on his hooves. My horse has no problem eating the supplement. The pellets smell like instant chicken ramen packs!
