Game-Changer for Dog w/Major Leg Injury
A year and a half ago I adopted a rescue pup, approximately 6 years old, who was from an reservation in Montana. Long before I got her she had been shot with two bee-bees, which are still inside her. This incident shattered her femur, which then fully fused. So, her right hind leg is completely straight - a true "peg leg".
After adopting her my vet did a lot of x-rays and diagnostics. Since everything had already fused, the leg itself doesn't seem painful, but her awkward gait/compensating for that leg did make her a bit sore and easy to become tired. My vet and I discussed amputating the leg, but my gut said to let her settle/get on a better diet/lose her excess weight, etc. and go from there. At that point I started her on Turmericle powder in her breakfast.
One year later she just had her annual exam, and my vet was blown away by how much better she is moving. He said, "whatever you are doing, keep it up!". I really believe this supplement has helped manage her inflammation and day-to-day discomfort, which has supported her as she's lost weight, started to get a lot more exercise, go up and down stairs, and generally get a lot stronger. When we first adopted her I was giving her a Rimadyl once or twice per week at bedtime because she seemed depressed/uncomfortable. Now I can't remember the last time I had to give her a prescription NSAID!
Of course, she's always going to require extra support, especially as she ages, and if there comes a time that we do need to remove her leg, we will do whatever is best for her. But to see her doing zoomies and chasing birds on our 10 acres with my other two dogs, it's quite obvious she is feeling really good - and I know a huge part of this is due to Turmericle!

Tumercicle Powder for Dogs
Nice size jar but I can't get my two dogs to eat their food if I use it. I will keep trying to conceal it but I think the smell and taste needs improvement = like poultry flavor?

May be helping
I can't really tell if this is helping but I'm assuming it is and continuing to use it. With 100 degree heat indexes and covid lockdown for safety, it's been a challenge to take my pup for a walk so it's hard to tell if his movement has improved. Will update the rating when I have a better feel for how it's doing.

Stinky
I bought this for my senior pug because she's got pretty bad arthritis. She'll eat it but it takes forever- it's pretty stinky and for a pug, requires a fairly large amount. Then the smell emanates from her. I think maybe it's helped a little but probably not enough for me to buy another one. On the plus side, it's a huge container so it's a good value.

Noticed a difference in days
i have a 13 year old Jack Russel Terrier that has a repaired torn ACL - and was hit by a car a few years back and was sore and stiff. i couldn’t throw frisbee or ball more than a few times without him limping back to me and he would always ask to be let in at the bottom of my stairs to the door. a few days after starting this when i opened the door he was at the top of the stairs. i can now play fetch with him with no limping. This product is quite impressive and i totally recommend - oh and his fur is way softer than before. i am often told by others they haven’t pet a dog with such soft fur before. i will try with my mare next who does not like her rear legs pulled out very far.

I don't have to make batches
I had stopped giving my dogs turmeric because making it was so messy. I would put it in forms and freeze them. But everything was orange, including my hands, clothes, countertops, cabinets (yes, I get messy). And, sometimes my older boy Sky, would decide he didn't want to eat his food with it in it.
Anyway, now I can easily put this powder into my dogs food. Convenience, convenience, convenience.
I have noticed a difference with my two older furkids, Sky and Zora, that they are running faster and are not stiffening up afterwards.

Love love love
I see a clear difference in my 10yo mini Aussie mix. He plays fetch like a pup and is so happy when he is getting this. I took him off and he became very stiff. He broke his hip about a year ago, but gets around just fine now. I don’t feed any pain meds just this powder. I also feed this to my horse. It is a strong messy powder, but it is worth the benefits and surprisingly they both eat it up. The dog is picky and likes it. I love this magic powder!!

Good value
I purchased this for my 11 year old corgi who has been diagnosed with lymphoma. He is undergoing treatment (successfully I might add!) but in my research for ways to help dogs with cancer/undergoing chemo, I came across the benefits of turmeric and CBD. I already feed both my horse and my dog supplements from smartpak, so I came here first to see what they had and was very happy to find this product. It looks to be a well formulated turmeric supplement to maximize the benefits, and with the max two tablespoon serving this bucket is lasting a very long time, so I'd say it's a great value as well. My pup's coat is looking really amazing on this, and I've had him on fish oil for several years. This has just made him look like a million bucks, and with this combined with CBD oil and vet prescribed omeprazole he has been in excellent spirits throughout his treatment. I can't say for sure that this is helping with the cancer, obviously, as he is undergoing chemo for that, but he certainly seems to be feeling great and for what it has done for his lovely tricolor coat alone I think it's worth it. He eats it fine too even though it is a powder and has a strong smell and presumably flavor, but he is also a corgi and not the pickiest of eaters. I definitely recommend.
