Definitely NOT a calming aid!
I've used Perfect Prep Extreme/Supreme for two years now with my young horse and they always help keep him from getting overwhelmed or intractable at shows.
He doesn't love oral pastes, so I decided to try this new Pro Focus because it's a much smaller amount. That was a big mistake! Instead of helping him settle, it was like I'd given him rocket fuel. This is a horse who likes to live life in the slow lane, and he achieved a level of speed and energy with this paste that I've never seen before. He was spooky, fractious, and overall unlike himself. The Pro Focus was the only difference, and he was back to himself the next morning after it wore off.

Best one I’ve tried so far!
I do think I notice a difference with this. I usually also use the sane and sound feed through from perfect prep but have used this without and I still liked it. It helps my horse show nerves not transfer to the horse and keeps him a little more forgiving and chill. He’s super picky and usually doesn’t like tubes at all or even treats but he takes this without a halter on and swallows with no problem! I give 2 1/2-3 hours before my first class and love it.
