Why We Love This
Sure Foot Equine Balance Pads are for use with the patented SURE FOOT Equine Stability Program® developed by Wendy Murdoch. This Program is a progressive system of offering a variety of unstable surfaces to the horse. This program is designed to help support function and mobility of your horse and may help improve posture and proprioception.
The SURE FOOT HARD Pad is designed to provide a supportive surface that yields to heat and pressure with no lateral (side-to-side) movement. This unique combination of stability and responsiveness may help horses develop better balance, body awareness, and confidence.
The Hard Pad is ideal:
As an introductory pad for horses that are new to the SURE FOOT Equine Stability Program
To help support building a horse's confidence and sense of security in their own balance
As an encouragement to horses to explore their natural balance without excessive lateral challenge
For horses that have had a previous illness or injury or are physically challenged
For Nervous, anxious, or tense horses
For larger horses and breeds
The dense material of the Hard Pad gradually yields to the horse's hoof, providing a customized level of support and comfort while allowing horses to sense changes in their balance and stability. The Hard Pad may also help support horses to focus on their proprioception and body awareness. As horses become more attuned to their balance and weight distribution, they may experience improved relaxation. The Hard Pad's combination of stability and responsiveness makes it an excellent choice for horses that are new to SureFoot.

To get started with Sure Foot Equine Balance Pads, it is strongly recommend that the Quickstart Guide is reviewed prior to using Sure Foot Pads. When first introducing SureFoot Pads to your horse:
Use caution when first offering Pads - make sure your horse is comfortable with the pads
Use caution when positioning pads and keep your hands/feet away from hooves
To start with, have your horse in an open space (like an arena) and on a lead rope
Allow your horse to walk off the Pad if he needs to move
Observe your horse’s response as a guide to how to proceed

Note: SURE FOOT Equine Balance Pads are a tool to benefit your horse. Though durable, just
like your other equipment they will show wear and tear. Nicks, tears, and cuts are considered
normal and do not alter the effect of the Pads in any way.
Please be sure to familiarize yourself with the SURE FOOT Equine Stability Program® before using
SURE FOOT Pads with your horse. Always check with your veterinarian before using SURE FOOT Pads for
any health-related conditions. Have your horse on a lead when using SURE FOOT Pads instead of
on crossties. Do not leave horse unattended while using Sure Foot Pads.
