Instructions

Instructions for Use:

Apply 1 or 2 coats to clean, dry hoof. Allow to dry. Apply a thin layer of petroleum jelly to neck of container for ease in reopening. Close container after use.

Sizing

I use gloves when applying, because it will stain skin. Hint: Don't apply this when in your show clothes, you could regret it if you get it on yourself.

Rated 3 out of 5 by 59302el83 from works well but packaging needs some work I bought this to use at a few rated shows in my area. when I received my order the bottle had leaked everywhere, I ended up using nail polish remover on the bottle to get the sticky substance off. it's not a huge deal but it leaked again in my tack trunk so I keep it in a plastic baggie now. something else worth mentioning is the smell. DO NOT SMELL THIS PRODUCT, it honestly smells like nail polish remover but x500. I put the bottle up to my nose and took a good whiff and I deeply regret it. it felt like all my nose hairs had been singed. other than that the product works well and leaves hooves shiny and show ready.

It is very easy to apply, but does stain, so do it on asphalt or somewhere you won t mind if it drips a little when applying. I love the black on my horse with black hooves, and the clear is great for my sorel mare.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Ann Nonymous from Leaks everywhere I purchased this thinking it would be great for horseshows and every day use to seal out some of the mud/water in my horse's hoofs. While the black color is very nice, the polish itself is a gigantic mess. The little wand broke off the lid immediately and the whole bottle ended up leaking everywhere. The black polish gets EVERYWHERE and stains. Such a mess. Will never use it again.

Rated 5 out of 5 by horsegrl30 from Long lasting, great finish This hoof polish is amazing--goes on easily, and once it dries it doesn't smudge or collect dirt. In fact, when I have to reapply before competition, it allows dirt to be dusted off very easily, and the hoof surface is then very clean for reapplication (keeps the applicator puff cleaner). Have used both the black and the clear, and would recommend both!
