They have the aesthetic of breeches with two faux buttons, faux fly front, and wide 2.5” waistband that lets you accessorize with your favorite belts. In a fun, crosshatch diamond plate pattern, the silicone full seat give you extra grip in the saddle. Rated 4 out of 5 by ZoeW from Great fabric and grip, runs large I love the fabric and grip of these breeches. They are a nice midweight breech for fall/winter. However, for me they ran quite large. I am almost always a size large in breeches with this type of sizing, and these in a large sag off of me noticeably. Wearable with a belt, but something to be aware of!

Rated 2 out of 5 by hrsgrl from Fit was not comfortable Fit was short through the body. I am 5'9 and the length was fine in the legs but I felt like they were riding up in the private area. They are cut short through this area. Also they were a little baggy in the bottom also. I was not comfortable with the fit which was disappointing because I usually have luck with piper.

The only thing I didn’t like about the old version is the silicone around the waist band but the new pair didn’t have that. Comfortable and flattering.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Adultamateur from So grippy! Seriously love these pants! When I first got on with them I felt so secure and stuck into the saddle! The design is flattering and attractive. The fabric is great, repels water and the still looked clean after grooming, riding, and bathing 2 horses in the summer heat. They are definitely more breech-like than tight-like though, I wouldn't say they are cooling but not as hot as some breeches. Liked them so much I ordered another pair in a different color.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Renegade73 from COOLING! I bought my first pair of these about a month ago and just bought another pair. I am IN LOVE. I’m a plus sized rider who has chronic illnesses and I’m always trying to find actual breeches i like. Pipers never fit me right, they always get sticky to my skin to where I can’t use the restroom if I’m at all sweaty. And part of my illness is sweating. A breeze across them after sweating or rinsing a horse and getting wet is FREEZING. They truly are cooling and clean so well. My one peeve is the waist height. I wish they had a bit more of a rise in the front to avoid the dreaded camel toe. I also wish they were a bit thicker in the waist. A smoothing panel on the front with a higher waist in the front would give these a solid 5 stars. But other than that, I wish I could do a 4.5 because I truly do LOVE these breeches and really hope for more colors.

Rated 2 out of 5 by Maggie from Updated version not as good I bought these for the first time in May 2021, just as I was losing weight from having a baby. I unexpectedly loved them and wear the three pairs I got from then almost relgiiously. Fast forward a year, I'm now the same weight I was before the baby but my hips are permanently wider. I bought another couple of pairs and was super unhappy to see they were updated with a new fabric type that was much less stretchy. Not only was the less stretchy fabric less comfortable and hotter, it was now super difficult to get these over my hips. Super disappointed that the new fabric isn't stretchy anymore. Bring back the old design!
