Why We Love This
The Hit-Air H2 Vest, is certified to the Equestrian Standard NF S72-800:2022, the first and currently only standard, adopted in France, specifically for the manufacture of airbags for equestrian sports.
The H2 features the tailored style and fit of the Hit Air Advantage Vest with additional inner padding in the back, hips, neck and rib cage are. It features our All-In-one Adjustable bungee-Saddle Strap combination.
Hit-Air is manufactured by MUGEN DENKO, LTD, the international leader and original air vest manufacturer with more than two decades of experiences in the airbag technology. The Hit-Air H2 Airbag Vest is a "harness type" airbag, which is worn close to the body with the design allowing airflow to offer cooling while riding. It employs a high-speed key ball mechanism which activates the CO2 cartridge. Its versatile design makes it perfect for riders of all equestrian disciplines, fitting beautifully over a show coat, while offering protection for all equestrian disciplines, including Eventing, Endurance, Carriage and Western. This vest does not require an additional safety vest, unless riding in USEA Cross Country Schooling or Competitions.

This vest is designed for adults, and to deploy properly the rider must weigh a minimum of 100lbs. If a rider is under 100lbs, please contact our Customer Care Team – we would be happy to help select the right vest!
The Hit-Air H2 Vest is available in sizes from 25.5" Chest 21.6" waist to 51" Chest and 44.5" waist. Refer to our size chart for your proper size.
NOTICE: This vest is not ASTM approved. It must be worn over an ASTM approved body protector in competition where an ASTM approved body protector is required.
Please Note: Our Regular Length Adjustable Bungee and Clip Bungee Lanyards are recommended for customers with horses 15.2 hands or taller. If a customer will be riding horses between 13.2 hands and 15.2 hands, we recommend a Short Length Lanyard. Air vests should NOT be used on horses under 13.2 hands.
New vests come with (1) Co2 cartridge, (1) All-in-One Bungee Lanyard, and (1) Tool Kit and Direction Set
CAUTION: Safety equipment must fit properly and be appropriately secured with manufacture approved parts only. Altering or adding to safety equipment voids warranty and can result in injury. As a safety precaution, inspect all products prior to each use.

- The neck airbag inflates first, where most injuries occur, followed by (in only fraction of a millisecond) the torso and hip airbag
- The key box where the CO2 cartridge is deployed is protected from dust and dirt and provides sound insulation to minimize spooking the horse during an unintended deployment
- Added comfort in the saddle because the hip air bags are concealed inside a special pocket making it unnecessary to have a long "duck tailed" style that can be uncomfortable in the saddle
