Massage Therapy
By using the Magnetic Back Pad first you are helping to relieve the pain and by using the Massage Pad, you can begin to improve the flexibility by mobilising these stiff tight muscles.
The EQUILIBRIUM Therapy® Massage Pad has taken over two years to design and develop and this product has most certainly been worth the wait.
Each massage session lasts for approximately 30 minutes and runs through a cycle of three different massage modes. It will pulse, stroke and vibrate. This ensures that the muscles are worked in different ways within every session for maximum benefit. Not numbing the back by having the same continuous vibration. There are three intensity settings:
Low - (this is the default setting when you switch it on).This setting is good to get the horse/pony used to the pad and also for cooling the back down after exercise.
Medium - This setting is ideal to warm muscles prior to exercise
High - This setting is very intense and helps alleviate back problems
Although the programme will last for 30 minutes you can stop at anytime during the programme. We have found that it has a beneficial effect after only 10 minutes.
The battery charges in a few hours and lasts for at least 6 sessions. This, combined with the product's light weight and nylon carry bag, makes it very portable, so can be used at shows and events, as well as all round the yard. It covers the horse's back from withers to quarters, and being soft and pliable it sits comfortably on the back of a wide range of horses.
Horses and ponies really enjoy using the back pad and when we think of all they give us, it is nice to think that we can do something as nice as this for them.
