In my “need to have on hand at all times!” box
I’ve been using the recovery gels the last two years on my extremely sensitive 24 year old ottb gelding (has a history of GI inflamation and chronic colics resulting in hospitalization). I feel they make a true difference- I use them whenever we are having a big weather change (pressure, temp swing, storm etc), before and after trailering to an event, or whenever I see him in “not quite right” or having a crampy/bloated look. By using it proactively I haven’t had a colic episode linked to any of these incidents. I do find if he actively is showing colic symptoms he needs banamine versus this stopping a true acute episode, but by knowing him well and giving him this proactively he has been a happy camper! I no longer give maintenance dosing of ulcergard before trailering or stressful events as I’ve found he responds much better to this gel for avoiding gastric discomfort. I always keep at least 3 tubes on hand- my guy happens to respond well to 1/2 tube dosing which is the one and only time in his life he decided to be economical lol
I also use and LOVE Vitalize alimend and Vitalize Blazin for gastric health maintenance and heat stress. All great products!

Always have on hand!
These have been a miracle for my warmblood. He has a sensitive digestive system to begin with, so I was looking for some preventative products that would help him deal with stress a little better. Vitalize to the rescue! I always keep 2 - 4 tubes on hand and give him a dose whenever I feel he may get a little stressed (showing, changes in turnout/schedule... etc.) I truly believe that this product, along with proper nutrition and veterinary care (of course) has made a BIG difference for him.

Good for travel stress
I've used this when traveling with my horse. She gets stressed when we travel this seemed to help her with the stress and she was ready to eat and drink coming right out of the trailer. Really seemed to keep her stomach calm.

Miracle in a tube
I got introduced to this product about 2 years ago while at a colt starting expo. My horse is one of those very sensitive guys that anything can give him stomach upset. This product has changed our lives, at the first sign of any upset I give him a tube. Works within minutes. You will visibly see a difference soon after administering this product. In the 2 years I have used this paste along with Digest More Plus by Biozyme my horses overall health has been so much better.You will not be disappointed. I always have 2-3 tubes on me at all times.
