Rated 1 out of 5 by Jani from Ineffective I purchased this for my gelding to try to find a safe alternative and avoid using sedatives for showing. This product caused even more anxiety due to the taste and application of the paste. I was unable to determine if he just became anxious due to the bad flavor which resulted in him being even more nervous or if the actual product was not effective in helping him at all.

Rated 5 out of 5 by oldodd20 from Really love the product! Great alternative to PP, doesn't make them deadheads but still takes that edge off and helps them focus better. I adjust dosing depending on the needs of my horse-- I like doing doses the night before, morning of (about 12 hrs or less after first dose), and then again about an hour before competition. My horse doesn't get sour about taking this one, I think it must taste better and be less chalky than PP.

Rated 5 out of 5 by ReikiRN from love this We've been using this for my warmblood gelding for the past 2 years at shows. It kept him focused but not too dead like PP. I love the fact that its soothing to his GI tract and he starts eating hay after 5-10 minutes or so . No sour face!! I did have to play around with the dosing at first- did the directions but then if I feel he's going to need something extra depending on the surroundings I sometimes will give him a tube an hour before as well as doing the 30 cc the night before and the morning of . Great product! So Glad Smartpak carried this now!
