SmartPaker Barn Staple: ShowSheen® Hair Polish
I've used ShowSheen® Hair Polish on my horses for over 20 years. It is a staple in the barn and at shows and I've always been very happy with it!
I first heard of ShowSheen as a topical to help bring out the shine of your horse's coat before shows, but after using it myself I found it works great for everyday brushing and in between baths, too! It is a great product to use after shampooing and conditioning. I spray a moderate amount into my horse’s mane and tail for the lasting shine, but after spraying the hair always feels softer and is easily detangled, too. My current horse is a Reining/Ranch horse and it's a priority for me to keep his mane and tail long and beautiful. Thanks to ShowSheen he has less hair breakage and a silky, not greasy, feel to his coat. ShowSheen makes grooming easier and I just can’t do without it!
Even with using this product every day (and extra on bath days!)The gallon jug is very cost-effective and lasts me a good 6 months; and I always keep the 32oz spray near my grooming area for convenience.
I've also found that ShowSheen can be used on other farm animals as well as my dogs (though keep in mind it is not recommended for cats as it has not been tested). I have two very furry pups, a Corgi and an Australian Shepherd. We love being outside and exploring around the barn as well as on hikes. However, we don't love all the burrs that got stuck to their legs, and undercarriage. Along with this product making them incredibly soft, nothing bad sticks to their coats either! Plus, my Aussie has a topcoat with very fine hair that tangles easily. ShowSheen makes it so much easier to comb his coat out post-bathing, causing damage to the ends of the hair. I have been using this spray for many years on my dogs of all different breeds and love it every time.
ShowSheen reduces hair breakage, nourishes, shines, and keeps my horse and dogs clean. And it smells great, too! This is one product I'll always have in my grooming kit (and refills ready in my tack locker), I never want to be without this product. There is a reason ShowSheen has been around for 50 years and is still going strong! I HIGHLY recommend it.
