Great way to help your horse during the summer mon
My horse is an extremely sensitive, thin skinned, chestnut thoroughbred. He is very sensitive and reactive to bugs! My first summer with him, he had terrible reactions to bugs with huge whelps all over his legs and barrel. I tried every fly spray combo under the sun with little to no success! Last summer, I decided to start him on SmartBug-Off Ultra Pellets to hopefully ease his discomfort. At first, I was concerned that he wouldn't eat a supplement that had ingredients such as garlic and apple cider vinegar in it. I was pleasantly surprised that it was picky eater approved right off the bat! Not only did he eat it with no issues, but it did seem to help him comfortable during the long, hot Virginia summer. He did not have huge whelps on him, and I was not fretting over which fly spray combo to try next. It was a miracle worker for my sensitive boy, and I will continue to use it to keep him comfortable during the summer months!

Smells gross
Unfortunately, I bought 2 big things of this thinking it would help. My horse I'd a picky water and we've had success in the past with "picky eater approved" bug pellets, but NOT this one. I'm struggling bad to get my mare to eat her food and she is refusing to finish her food now, even when I'm trying to disguise the smell with ground carrots, cinnamon and apples. So not only is she not finishing her food, she's not getting the amount of OTHER SUPPLEMENTS that she needs either. I've used about 3 weeks worth now of one of the tubs out of 2 big rubs I spent a lot of Montreal in. What a huge waste of money

So far so good!
I bought this a little over a month ago to get my horse started on it before fly season kicks in and so far so good! Looking forward to seeing how he does this summer on it!

A product that actually works
My horse has been eaten alive the past few summers, having to wear a fly sheet mask and boots. I was not sure this would work. Especially since the other horses are not on it, but I have been pleasantly surprised. His chest and stomach have not been rubbed raw this summer and he has not had to wear a fly mask to keep the flys out of his eyes. I would recommend it to anyone with a sensitive skinned horse

This. Stuff. Works!
They work!!! I was having terrible trouble with flies constantly all over my horse. Fly spray only worked OK. SmartBug-Off has made a huge difference. My horse no longer has scabs all along the fly line. Iʻm usually skeptical about herbals, but this stuff really works. I just wish the shipping wasnʻt so high on bulk packages. I am happy that the daily packs are recyclable.

I bought this not expecting it to work. Very impressed. I have a thin skinned mare bugs really go after and now she is so much better! No bites on her chest. Flies not bothering her. Better than fly spray

My boy has Insect Bite Hypersensitivity and feeding this saved him from having to be 24/7 covered in fly sheets and boots in the hot summer and rubbing all his hair off. All he has to wear now is a fly mask and light spray all summer long - even in the worst flies (and our barn is pretty bad for those). Definitely worth it for his comfort!
